8th Grade Busch Gardens Field Trip
Where: Busch Gardens, Tampa
When: Thursday, May 29th, 2025
Departure: 7:30 AM Return: approximately 7:30 PM
Fee: $100 for student/ chaperones are also $100
- Cost includes transportation on a charter bus and admission to Busch Gardens
- ADD ONS:
* Include meal package, ALL DAY dining and snack for an additional $50. (Total cost = $150)
* If a student is a season pass holder the cost is $40 for transportation. No private transportation is allowed by students or chaperones.
- Students who sold 10 or more gold cards during the fall fundraiser will receive $40 off the cost of their field trip package.
How to Pay: There are three ways to pay this year: Cash, check payable to PCMS, or credit card through the PCMS website. Partial payments may be made from January to April. The final payment is due April 19th,2025. A $20 partial payments is needed to secure your spot on the trip.
Where and When to Pay: Money collections will take place in M-120 (8th Grade) and G2 (7th Grade) from 8:50 AM to 9:10 AM.
Dates are as follows:

March 10th-14th
April 7th-11th
Permission Slips: The permission slip needs to be signed by a parent or guardian and at least two emergency telephone numbers are required. Permission slips are to be returned to Mrs. Linneweber in M125 (8th grade) Mrs. Lee in G2 (7th grade)
Chaperones: Parents/Guardians who would like to chaperone the trip must become a Level 2 Volunteer through the District. Level 2 Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age, pass a background check, and complete fingerprinting. Once all District requirements are met, chaperones are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Chaperones will be responsible for a group of 4-8 students and must remain with their group at all times. Please contact Mrs. Linneweber or Mrs. Lee if you would like to chaperone and will have a background check and finger printing done.
Other info: It is imperative that your child arrives to school on time (7:30 AM) the day of the field trip. If you or your child miss the bus, there will be NO refunds. Your child must be picked up on time (approx. 7:30 PM) from PCMS. Students are responsible for their money and any other personal belongings. There will be a meeting with students attending the trip several days prior to the event to review expectations and to answer any additional questions.
DISQUALIFICATIONS: Beginning March 24th, 2025, students who receive at least 1 full day of ISS/OSS will NOT be permitted to attend. Students who owe credits, have attendance issues, or based on administrators’ discretion may also be denied from attending the trip.
Completed Permission Slips and Full Payment Due by Monday, April 19, 2025.
